Taking NR 3 for 70 km, south from Puerto Madryn is Trelew, where we can visit the magnificent museum of Pale ontology MEF. With some of the most unique fossil of Patagonia, also we can complete this visit by driving to the Pale ontological park BrynGwyn (appointing previously with the MEF administration).

At another 15 km by PR 25 we arrive at Rawson (Capital City) and at the end of Chubut river is PLAYA UNION, with a beautiful beach is an excellent summer resort. Also the port for the Dolphins Navigation. (Avistaje de Toninas).

Driving west on PR 25 at 15 km from Trelew is Gaiman heart of the Welsh Colony with its traditional welsh tea houses, on the same road after 35 km is Dolavon, where we can find the first Flour Windmill of the region and still in use , as well as some of the irrigation canals build by the first welsh settlers or one of the oldest waterwheel.

In the same direction, at 100 km one finds Florentino Ameghino Dam, also known as the oasis of the Patagonia for its exuberant vegetation. This little town is excellent for camping or Adventure tourism.

Returning to coast area it is possible to drive by the agroturismo circuit at the Valle Rio Encantado (Enchanted River Valley) where there are 10 farms, producing wines fruits, cheese and all kind of local hand crafts.
